Christopher's surfing accident and Patrick Schwarzenegger posts Twitt on Brother's Condition

'My brother is doing a lot better': Patrick Schwarzenegger wears his heart on his sleeve in T-shirt tribute to Christopher

Christopher Schwarzenegger's siblings have taken it upon themselves to be the family spokespeople while their parents maintain a bedside vigil.
After taking to twitter with sister Katherine last week to thank well-wishers for their support following Christopher's surfing accident, Patrick has now let fans know that his younger brother is making progress.
The 17-year-old posted a picture of himself on the site wearing a T-shirt with his hospitalised brother's face on it, and wrote: 'My brother is doing a lot better. Wearing this shirt for him.'

The T-shirt, in the style of Shepard Fairey, appears to have been left over from Christopher's last birthday in September, when he turned 13. It reads: 'Christopher is a teenager 09 - 27- 10.'
Patrick, who changed his name on Twitter to Shriver directly after the scandal over his father's love child broke earlier this year, previously asked his 31,000 followers to 'keep praying' for his sibling.
A family friend told People magazine that the Schwarzenegger children have rallied around their youngest brother. 'All the kids are visiting – they all adore and love each other and they are all there for each other,' the source said.
Christopher has been in hospital suffering multiple broken bones and a collapsed lung for over a week now following his surfing accident last Sunday in Malibu, but according to People, is expected to be released in the next few days.

His parents Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger have been a constant presence at the hospital, where he has been in intensive care.
There have been no further official statements by the family, other than Patrick's tweet, regarding Christopher's progress since Friday.
In a joint statement former couple Arnold and Maria said: 'While it has been a very scary week, Christopher is surrounded by his family and friends.  He is a brave boy and is expected to make a full recovery.'
It continues: 'On behalf of our entire family, we want to sincerely thank the paramedics and lifeguards who responded so swiftly as well as the doctors, nurses, emergency room and hospital staff who have cared for our son.
