Firm friends: Alex Foden says all Amy Winehouse wanted was to start a family with her ex-husband, Blake Fielder-Civil
During an interview with Radio 5 live the star’s stylist Alex Foden referred to the home-loving Amy who desperately wanted to share her talent and more importantly, her love with others.
‘All she wanted was to start a family and open a singing school - the price of fame was hard for Amy’, he said.
The singer’s maternal ambitions didn’t escape Amy's close friend, and former backing singer, Zalon Thompson either, who told the show:
‘She actually wasn’t really interested in the whole celebrity world she was more into being a housewife singing in bars and thinking about children.’
And there was only one person in the world Amy wanted to start a family with, Blake Fielder-Civil.
Speaking of their seemingly unbreakable bond, Mr Foden said, ‘That can never be taken away and that was quite clear to see.
‘Nobody can describe to you that feeling unless they have been that dangerously in love.
‘Her and Blake were thick as thieves, she loved him. It was everybody else that didn’t and the same with me and Blake, Amy surrounded herself with people that were not good for her.’
Tragic loss: Alex Foden who attended Amy's funeral on Tuesday said he wants to remember the stat as 'an amazing talent and an amazing person’
