Beyonce Knowles stole the show at the Costume Institute Gala Benefit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in her racy Givenchy Haute Couture dress

She's famous for her hit Single Ladies, but Beyoncé Knowles clearly adores being a family woman. The singer gave birth to her and husband Jay-Z's first child, daughter Blue Ivy, in January, and she is already planning to have more babies.
She said: 'I definitely want to have more. I don't know how many. God knows, I don't know yet.'
Glowing: Beyoncé, pictured here at the Met Gala in New York last night, has revealed she is eager for more children
But in the meantime, Beyoncé is gearing up to make a career comeback.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the Single Ladies hitmaker added: 'I've been rehearsing, I have a show coming up and it's my first show in a year. I have such a full life. I feel like now I know the reason that I was born.'
Beyoncé has certainly bounced back after giving birth four months ago and showed off her trim figure at the Met Costume Institute Gala in New York last night in a Givenchy Haute Couture dress.
The sheer theatrical creation featured a purple feathered tail as long as a wedding dress train.

She recently revealed breast-feeding and a strict diet and exercise regime helped her to shift the extra pounds put on during her pregnancy.
She explained: 'I lost most of my weight from breast-feeding and I encourage women to do it; it's just so good for the baby and good for yourself.
'I counted calories. I worked out maybe three to four times a week. I did a lot walking in the beginning and now I'm running. But I had to work my way up. I couldn't just go right from being pregnant to running.'

Now THAT's defying gravity! Nicole Scherzinger shows off her curves in stunning strapless corset dress

By Holly Thomas

She's one of the most photographed women in the world.
So Nicole Scherzinger must be ever conscious of the potential embarrassment should she suffer a wardrobe malfunction.
But the stunning 33-year-old practically defied gravity with an incredible strapless corset dress in Beverly Hills yesterday.
Daring choice: Nicole Scherzinger risked a rather precarious strapless dress for a meal Bouchon Bistro in Beverly Hills last night

The X Factor USA judge, who had enjoyed a meal with friends at Bouchon Bistro, didn't appear in the least concerned that there was every danger of showing off more than would be appropriate in such a public setting.
The short white number, which featured a flared skirt finishing mid-thigh was undeniably pretty however, and set off Nicole's raven hair- tied up in a neat ballerina knot- perfectly.
Nicole showed off her toned legs in snakeskin heels, and on the animal theme, appeared to be carrying a leopard print top.

But there are occasional downsides to Nicole's allure it would seem.
Apparently Nicole's on-off boyfriend Lewis Hamilton has expressed some concern at the news that the star will collaborate with Simon Cowell on the X Factor USA again.
'I believe Lewis has put it out there very plainly: he would prefer Nicole to not work with Simon anymore,' a source told more!

'The guy has been portrayed as pretty sleazy recently and Lewis is bound to be a little uncomfortable with that.'
However others are keen to reassure Lewis that he has nothing to worry about on that score.
'Simon's always been very complimentary of Nicole,' explained an insider. 'They respect each other and Lewis and Simon get on well.'

Kate Middleton, Duchess wows in a floor-length cream gown

Be careful sitting down in that dress Kate! Duchess wows in a floor-length cream gown... with a daring thigh-high split

The Duchess of Cambridge arrived at a 'secret' engagement in London last night in a show-stopping cream dress.
Although her private dinner was meant to be under the radar Kate was anything but, in a stunning floor-skimming gown slit to the thigh.
The dress, believed to be a design by Roland Mouret, had a demure high neckline, was teamed with crystal-studded Jimmy Choo Vamp sandals that revealed crimson-painted toenails.

White out: The showstopping gown is believed to be a 2009 creation by designer Roland Mouret
The Duchess carried a diamante clutch bag that matched her shoes and sported a pair of chandelier-style diamond earrings.
Kate was accompanying her husband, Prince William, to one of the most elite dining clubs in the country.

The royal couple were at Claridge’s hotel in Mayfair for a meeting of the Thirty Club, whose members are some of the most powerful men and women in advertising and the media.
Founded in 1905 for the ‘betterment of advertising’, its monthly dinners are a chance for the movers and shakers of the industry to meet, discuss issues of the day and sometimes even seal deals.

Kate's engagement ring sparkles against her cream dress as she is escorted by her husband the Duke of Cambridge
Supportive: Kate was accompanying husband Prince William, who was a guest speaker at last night's event

The man with the keys to entry is Bartle Bogle Hegarty's Nigel Bogle but it also attracts big media players including Michael Grade, Lord Puttnam and Stephen Carter. Rupert Murdoch is believed to have attended one dinner, although clearly in light of recent events was not present yesterday.

PALE... AND VERY INTERESTING: WHY KATE'S DRESS IS ANOTHER HIT

The Duchess of Cambridge's floor-sweeping gown is believed to be a 2009 design from RM by Roland Mouret.
Named the Lombard dress, it was first worn in its original teal colour by model Amber Valetta in 2009. It was then seen on France's former First Lady Carla Bruni at a State Dinner in 2010.
The slim-fitting arms of the off-white version appear to have been altered for the Duchess, though.
The classic design is at once grand and understated, in keeping with what has become a signature style.
This isn’t the first time she has worn Roland Mouret, however. Kate famously kicked off her tour of North America last year in a navy dress by the same London-based designer.
Their meetings feature a guest speaker – in this case Prince William - who was following in the footsteps of many other senior royals who have made address including his late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, his grand-father Prince Philip and aunt Princess Anne.
The Duchess was accompanying him, palace sources said, for support.
A St James’s Palace spokesman said William had decided to attend in honour of the Queen’s jubilee and his own 30th birthday next month.
‘The Duke has been invited for around nine years now and thought that it was right to accept the invitation this year because of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
'It also seemed rather apt as it his 30th birthday next month,’ they said.
‘Other senior members of the Royal Family also suggested that it was an interesting event to attend.’
They declined to say what issues his speech would be tackling, however, as it was ‘a private occasion’ and the engagement was not publicised in advance.
The Thirty Club was named after its 30 founder members  - ten senior figures from the advertising industry, those who advertise and the media. Today it still has 30 full members on roughly the same line, but has expanded its number of include some associate members.

Designer accessories: Jimmy Choo was the label behind both the sparkly beaded bag and the silver crackled leather shoes, which retail for £484
Some refer to Thirty Club members as ‘peacocks’ and their dinners as a ‘great flurry of feathers’.
Apparently  a great deal of meaning is written into the table plans and the further you sit away from ‘the top table’, the less influential you are considered – although clearly the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had little to worry about there.
Kate's decision to wear the show-stopping heels comes just a week after shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood criticised her for playing it too safe when it comes to footwear.

She normally wears plain nude, black or navy court shoes with a lower heel, so the choice of silver strappy sandals were quite a surprise.
He said last week: 'She just wears too much high street stuff. I know she’s trying to be democratic, but I don’t know how many pairs of LK Bennett you can wear.
'She does occasionally come out and is wearing McQueen or something like that. It’s like, "Do that more! You’re meant to be a princess-y type of person, so act like one."
Her unusual choice of heels also meant Kate had to forgo her signature shiny nude tights.

Francesco Carrozzini in Burberry Prorsum - Courtney Love "She's Not Even Pretty" autobiographical art show, New York

Courtney Love presented her debut exhibition in new york yesterday. guess we can now add "artist" to the many titles she own. titled "she's not even pretty", the exhibition was supposedly autobiographical (in her own words). Italian photographer Francesco Carrozzini was pictured at the event, looking effortlessly laid back in a Burberry Prorsum leather biker jacket from spring summer 2011, paired with a forest green t-shirt and faded denims. i love that jacket, it's really the standout piece from the collection. Francesco looked really good, the look was effortless.
sometimes the simplest look is ironically the hardest to achieve.

Jennifer Nicole Lee in dangerously low-slung backless dress in Dior

She’s not the type to shy away from flaunting the rock hard body she works hard for.
But Jennifer Nicole Lee may have had onlookers wondering where the rest of her dress disappeared to as she stepped out in Beverly Hills today.
The 36-year-old was keen to show off her impressive figure as she did a spot of shopping on Rodeo Drive and there’s no doubt she got the attention she was after in her daring ensemble.

A regular on the beaches of Miami, Jennifer let her tanned skin take centre stage in a frock with a gaping back area.
She was obviously aiming for elegance on the famous road for high-end retail purchases, fashioning a long sleeve number with cowl-style over her derriere.
The star barely had room for any underwear in the extremely short clothing which drew attention to her lengthy legs as well as her toned shoulders.
Where's the material gone? The tiny frock didn't provide much room for underwear

However the exercise guru did not appear as graceful as she might have hoped as she flashed several winged inkings in her ribs and posterior.
She teamed her ivory number – which she wearing for a photo shoot for her backless dress line – with large white sunglass and plenty of accessories.
In somewhat mismatched chic, she added a flurry of gold with items including hoop earrings, a watch and tiny handbag.

With her locks scraped up into a skin-pulling style she hardly looked the part for the spot of shopping she ended up doing on her break for the spread, which is thought to feature in her upcoming book.
It’s a surprise she managed to trot around in her staggering black and metallic heels, let alone lug hefty bags around too.
She ought to be thankful for having a trusty assistant who provided a helpful pair of hands when it came to toting her designer purchases from stores including Fendi and Dior.

Justin Bieber 'wields' a somewhat puny hammer as he celebrates victory at the Tribeca Film Festival In New York Today

As the sweet-faced slender figure behind singles such as Mistletoe and Boyfriend, Justin Bieber's hardly known for his aggressive tenancies. So when he wielded a 'Thor-style' hammer at the Tribeca Film Festival today, the spectacle made for a rather humorous comparison.
In fairness to the 18-year-old, he was hardly attempting to look menacing, as the 'hammer' was in fact an award presented to him by the festival this afternoon.

The award honors people who have disrupted their industry with new technologies, ideas, and strategies.
Justin accepted the award speaking about how he credited the Internet with his rise to stardom.

Appropriately, Justin took to Twitter almost immediately to share the news with his fans.
He posted: 'got the DISRUPT award at the tribeca film festival with @scooterbraun. in school i got in trouble for being disruptive. LOOK AT ME NOW. lol'
The teen added: 'the award was for how we changed the game. WE. ME and ALL OF YOU did this TOGETHER. THIS IS YOUR AWARD TOO. THANKS'
