Beyoncé shakes a purple tail feather in dramatic sheer dress with super-long train Givenchy as she leads the fashion pack at Met Gala

On a night when fashion's finest come out to play, there is always going to be a little competition. And Beyonce Knowles led the fashion parade with flying colours at the A-list bulging Met Gala.
Making her grand red carpet return after giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter in January, the 30-year-old's figure looked sensational in her sheer sequin Givenchy Haute Couture gown.

The theatrical creation also featured a purple feathered tail as long as a wedding dress train.

The nude bodysuit she wore underneath was also visible, and flattering against her honeyed skin.

But the experimental garment has divided fashion critics, with some saying it left little to the imagination and was daring just for sake of being noticed.
However, Beyonce has never been one to shy away from publicity and obviously relished her moment in the spotlight.
While she looked in great shape, the singer said she hasn't been working out to get her post-baby figure back, but rather has just been working.
She said: 'I've been rehearsing, I have a show coming up and it's my first show in a year,' she told ET.

And when asked by one reporter  if she's thinking about more kids, Beyonce admitted: 'I definitely want to have more. I don't know how many. God knows I dont know yet.'
A stylist was also seen at her beck and call, primping the dress as she ascended the stairs.

Other stars also created a heated debate as to whether or not they should end up on the fashion hit or miss list at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual ball.
One person that certainly was chasing Beyonce's tail - was her own sister.

Solange embraced the summer vibe, stepped out in bold canary yellow.
The 25-year-old often trails in her big sister's footsteps, but she was a star in her own right last night, creating the perfect hour-glass silhouette with a flared middle to create the illusion of a smaller waist.
Her wild afro hair looked incredibly striking, as she injected an ultra-glamorous finish with a diamante clutch bag and unusual geometric bangle.

  1. What a fugly dress. Beyonce we know you have a great body. Dont do yourself like that. Look how beautiful Solange looks in her demure dress. Much better than you look in that slutty number.
