Katy Perry lets her pink hair down as she enjoys a wild rollercoaster ride

She had a massive chart success the world over with her last album Teenage Dream.
And Katy Perry looked like she was reliving a portion of her teenage years yesterday as she took a rollercoaster ride in Six Flags theme park in Illinois.
The pink haired star laughed and screamed in delight as she boarded a succession of scary roller coasters.

The singer grinned and laughed manically as she tried out the Ultimate Flight ride, the DC comics themed roller coaster and had two goes on the Raging Bull ride.
Katy, 26, was taking a break from her busy California Dreams tour to enjoy a bit of rest and recuperation.
Whether screaming in a roller coaster will have helped the large-lunged singer maintain her voice in the middle of a world tour remains to be seen.

 

The multi-platinum selling songstress looked fantastic in a figure hugging green dress, though she had to hold on to her skirt to preserve her modesty at one point as she careered downhill.

She certainly did not seem bothered by the news some of her songs have been banned in China.
She was one of a number of stars, including Lady Gaga, The Backstreet Boys and Beyonce who have had tunes outlawed.
The communist country's Ministry of Culture clearly felt the lyrics to her song Last Friday Night were a bit risqué.
Lines, which include 'there's a stranger in my bed, there's a pounding my head,' and 'I smell like a minibar,' were deemed a bad influence on the nation's youth.

And she is said to be hoping to spend more time with her cheeky comedian husband Russell Brand in the run-up to their first anniversary in October.
A source said: 'She just wants to wake up in the same bed as her hubby every morning.'
