Emily Blunt stuns as she sports bizarre back-to-front cropped jacket and matching dress at film premiere

She's known for her quintessential British looks and stylish get-ups when she walks the red carpet.And Emily Blunt ensured she looked the picture of perfection again when she took to the premiere of her new film Salmon Fishing in the Yemen in London tonight.
She ignored the downfall of rain and hail to debut a bizarre new look, which consisted of a cropped back-to-front jacket which matched her pencil dress.

Emily, 29, stepped onto the sodden red carpet in the blue and black striped frock with a sheer jewelled hemline.
 
The dress gave off an interesting look, especially as she turned around to unveil the back, which showed the top was separate to the rest of the gown.
The Devil Wears Prada actress matched the outfit with some skyhigh black peep toe Louboutins and wore her brunette bob down.

But despite the weather being miserable in London she didn't let it bother her bare legs, and was lucky when the sun finally came out later on.
She was joined by her co-star Ewan McGregor, who also went for his own interesting look.
The Scottish star opted for smart casual in black skinny trousers with a smart jacket and thin scarf around his neck.
And although his get-up looked dapper, Ewan slightly ruined the illusion with an odd pair of shoes.
The Trainspotting star stepped out in some black shiny footwear, which had a rather large white and black striped sole.

He signed autographs for fans and embraced Emily with a big hug.
The pair were also joined by actors Tom Mison and Amr Waked at the event as they posed together for the cameras.
Despite playing fisheries expert Alfred Jones in the romantic comedy, McGregor admitted tonight that he is 'no fisherman'.

He said that fishing was not one of his favourite hobbies and certainly wasn't a 'passion' of the star's.
Ewan told the Press Association: 'I'm not really a fisherman. I must have done some fishing when I was a kid here and there but it is not really a passion of mine.'
The film, which has been adapted from Paul Torday's novel, sees McGregor tasked with the seemingly impossible mission of introducing salmon into the Yemen wadis by a sheikh.

Dozens of fans braved rain and sleet to get a glimpse of the stars at the UK premiere in Kensington.
McGregor also opened up about working with Blunt in the film and said that starring alongside the actress was 'fantastic'.
He added: 'She is a great partner to have in a movie. She is a lovely woman, she is funny. She has a wicked sense of humour.

'There is something very similar about the way we approach our work and we threw ourselves into the scenes. We didn't have a great deal of discussion about what we were going to do before the camera was rolling and I like that the best.'
He continued: 'The story just grabbed me more than anything. Fred does start off in a very different place than he ends off and that is always very satisfying for an actor.
And Blunt, who plays the sheikh's representative Harriet, equally enjoyed playing opposite McGregor.

The 29-year-old, who was sporting a navy Carolina Herrera dress and Christian Louboutin shoes, said: 'He is awesome. I think many women were really jealous that I got to work with him for that long. He's swoon-able.'
She added: 'The movie has such heart so everyone worked really hard on it. It is an original story so everyone was relieved to work on something new and fresh.
'It is a really uplifting story and it was a lot of fun to do. It is a feel-good movie, it is hopeful and uplifting and it makes people feel something.'
The film is released in cinemas on 20 April.
