Teri Hatcher may have to get used to wearing orange if these pictures are anything to go by.Her Desperate Housewives character Susan Delfino was arrested while filming scenes for the eighth season of the ABC show in Los Angeles this week.
She is pulled over for a traffic violation but does not take well to being given a ticket.
She is seen getting out of her car, arguing with the officer, ripping up the ticket and attempting to kick over his motorcycle.
Last season's finale saw Susan help cover up a murder for friend Gabrielle Solis, played by Eva Longoria.
Gabby's husband killed her stepfather Alejandro, who raped her during her childhood, after he tracked her down and tried to hurt her again.
Lynette Scavo, played by Felicity Huffman, and Bree Van de Camp, played by Marcia Cross, also agree to keep the murder a secret.
TV Guide said the new season would see one of the housewives becoming ridden with guilt and while acting out, parks in a fire lane, eventually leading to her being locked up.
The character also takes up shoplifting and admits to once cheating on a college exam.
The stars have been working hard since filming started this week.
Eva, 36, posted a picture on her Twitter page showing fans her bruises and burn marks received while training for pole-dancing scenes.
She wrote: 'My wounds from pole dancing! Wait til u see this episode of DH! Hilarious! Worth the pain!'
Her character hires a stripper after her husband Carlos, played by Ricardo Chavira.
The stripper teaches her how to use a pole she has installed in the couple's bedroom.
But despite the stars signing contracts that would take them through until a ninth season, it was reported this series could be the show's last.
An insider told TV Guide this month: 'It's all dependent on the ratings. It will be up against some stiff competition.'
But an ABC spokesperson told The New York Post that 'no decision has been made yet, it seems like people are just guessing.'
The show has seen a significant fall in viewers since it began in 2004.
It was once the fourth most-watched show in the US but is now ranked at 24.
