With a wedding date set, a Vera Wang wedding dress to wear, and a fitness regime in place, Kim Kardashian is already well underway with plans for her up-and-coming nuptials to fiancé Kris Humphries.But the 30-year-old reality star and her NBA basketballer beau last month took some time out to celebrate their actual engagement, with an intimate party thrown by Kim's two sisters, Khloe and Kourteney on Jun 16.
The soiree, which took place at Khloe's Los Angeles mansion, was done in true Kardashian style, and organised in a matter of just three days.
Khloe, whose own 2009 wedding to husband Lamar Odom was planned in just nine days following the couple's whirlwind romance, enlisted the help of her former wedding planner, Sharon Sacks.
'She has exquisite taste!' Kim told Life & Style of the in-demand celebrity planner, who has also designed nuptials for both Jennifer Lopez and Christina Aguilera.
The busy bride said she was thrilled to hand the reigns over to her sisters when it came to the affair.
'Kourtney and Khloé are taking care of everything!' Kim said .
And despite usually doing things on a grand scale, Kim was pleased with the smaller 50-people guest list.
'The night was so romantic,' she told Life & Style. 'It was just perfect! So intimate and special.'
The bride-to-be wore a white fitted mini-dress with a bell-shaped skirt for the special celebration.
She had her raven tresses in a straight style and applied her signature smoky eye make-up and pale lips combination to her complexion.
Kourtney slipped into a short cream shift with ruffled hem, and Khloe went for a pale grey and black frock.
Kim and Kris were joined not only by the whole Kardashian clan, including a cute little Mason in a pinstripe suit, but also close friends Brittny Gastineau, La La Vazquez, and Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin.
With the momentum for her big day building, Kim said she couldn't wait to walk down the aisle.
'I’ve fantasized about my wed¬ding since I was a little girl,' she said.
'We're all excited about Kim's wedding,' Kourtney added.
The following night, the family flew to Las Vegas to celebrate Khloe's birthday at Sugar Factory American Brasserie and Chateau Nightclub & Gardens.
Kim got engaged to boyfriend Kris back in May, during a romantic trip away to the exotic island of Bora Bora.
And celebrations were immediately put in place upon her return, with the Kardashian family wasted no time in sharing in her excitement.
There was no expense spared for the celebratory family party, with Kim's mother Kris Jenner laying on a princess castle cake, along with real ponies covered in glitter.
Since announcing her engagement, much hype has surrounded the upcoming reality wedding, with many predicting it to be on the scale of the recent Royal nuptials.
According to Page Six, Kim has reportedly set the date for her wedding, with the reality star settling on August 20 in California for the nuptials.
And with the whole world watching, (the ceremony will be televised on Kim's reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians) the socialite has been making sure all her blood, sweat and tears are going into looking her very best.
Recently she hired Jennifer Lopez's coach Gunnar Peterson and Tracy Anderson, who is famous for her work with Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow, to whip her into shape.
Kim, who weighs 125lbs, wants to lose 15lbs before walking down the aisle.
Anderson, who sometimes trains her client twice in one day, tells Life&Style magazine: 'We don’t want to take away Kim’s amazing curves, so we just do specific movements to tighten the skin and to pull the muscles tight against the bone.'
Peterson has her doing curls and lunges with him two to three times a week.
On top of that, Kim still plans to continue sessions at Barry’s Bootcamp, a high-intensity interval training class.
And it's no wonder she's pulling out all the stops - she may be slipping into her Vera Wang gown in a matter of weeks.
While she has only been engaged to basketball player Kris Humphries since May, she can't wait to be his wife and has hinted they'll wed during the summer.
