For most parents, the first few weeks after welcoming a new baby sees them barely able to leave the house.
But Kate Hudson and fiancé Matt Bellamy, whose son Bingham was born on July 9, are in the fortunate position of being able to afford a little extra help.
The new parents enjoyed a night off diaper duty for a good cause, attending a benefit dinner hosted by Chanel in aid of Natural Resources Defense Council's Oceans Initiative.

Kate, 32, wore a black satin gown with nude platform heels for the dinner, held at a private estate in Malibu.
The actress' left her hair and make-up natural, letting her post-pregnancy glow shine through.
Kate, still showing off some curves following the birth of her baby boy, pinned the daring slit on the dress closed to prevent showing too much leg.

Matt looked a little tired, understandably, with a newborn in the house, and wore a suit and converse shoes.
The couple are thrilled over the arrival of their first child together, Bingham Hawn, who was born ten days ago in Los Angeles.
Muse frontman Matt tweeted his joy over the arrival, writing: 'So happy! Just had a baby boy, Bingham "Bing" Hawn Bellamy. Born 7Ib 12Oz, on 9th July.

'Mum and baby are strong and healthy. Mum was a warrior, Bing popped out after 4.5 hours of intense pushing!'
He added later: 'For those wondering, Bingham is my mum's maiden name and Bing Russell was Kurt's dad. Family connections all round!'
The couple were joined at the charity event by a host of A-listers.
