There are unkind people out there who suggest that Kim Kardashian does nothing to earn her fortune and celebrity status. But, whatever you think of the 31-year-old, it cannot be argued that she never does any work, as that girl is always off to meetings.
Last night, she even flew across the country to attend a personal appearance in Los Angeles, and that shows stamina.
It's also the city where her rumoured beau, 34-year-old Kanye West, is currently based.
But on her first day back, the raven-haired reality princess - who was missing him so much when she jetted to LA that she wore his initials as earrings - didn't dash into his arms.
Meanwhile, her brother Rob, brother-in-law Lamar Odom and sisters Khloe and Kourtney enjoyed some downtime in New York.
And they're happy about Kanye joining their gang.
'We've known Kanye for like nine years, and we had a double-triple-foursome date,' Khloe, 27, told Us Magazine.
'He's great with the family, but again we've known him for so long. It's not like some stranger getting into a hurricane.'
But for now, it was the family straight-rolling, and they got their kicks shopping at Jeffrey, and for the boys, indulging in pretzels.
Meanwhile Kim has recently confessed that she is obsessed with social networking, especially Twitter.
Kim admitted that she regularly interacts with her critics who write mean things about her.
'I love writing them back. People will write me, "My phone battery lasts longer than Kim Kardashian's marriage,' and I'll write back, "Oh, which phone is that?"' she told Papermag.com in a recent interview.
'When people are so stupid, you just have to have fun with it. Someone (without a profile photo) will say I'm fat, or a hairy Armenian, and I'll write back, "Oh, that egg picture of yours is so gorgeous."
Kim believes that she wouldn't have reached her level of fame without the internet.
'I think a lot of our fan base and a lot of our connection with people is Internet based. I think that the Internet has brought on a different kind of celebrity,' she said.
'We are very well aware of who we are and what our place is. We are so active on Twitter, on our Facebook pages, we are writing back, we are connecting. We enjoy it.'
While Kim proclaims that she is infatuated with Twitter, she says she hardly obsesses with the Tweets she writes and only ever deleted one Tweet once, because her fans complained about profanity.
'One time I wrote, "F*** yeah!" and all my younger fans were like, "What are you turning into?" So I deleted it.'
Kim's sister Khloe, who also is a fan of Twitter, says her brother on the otherhand, is bi-polar when it comes to the site.
'I don't delete things. You look like such a little punk when you delete things,' she told the magazine. 'You should have kept that "F*** yeah!"
'Our brother Rob deletes almost every tweet and follows people and then un-follows them. If he's in the mood to just date random people, he follows them, then un-follows. He un-follows me like once a month. He's bipolar on Twitter.'

Back to work: Kim Kardashian touched in New York today and after a quick change the Gansevoort hotel, was whisked to a meeting by Kris Jenner
Kim tweeted about attending the Jeep Wrangler launch, but as soon as her appearance was over she was back on the red eye to New York, where the rest of her family are. It's also the city where her rumoured beau, 34-year-old Kanye West, is currently based.
But on her first day back, the raven-haired reality princess - who was missing him so much when she jetted to LA that she wore his initials as earrings - didn't dash into his arms.
Picking something up on the way: The reality star also dashed past department store Jeffrey to pick up some supplies
No, rather, she headed out to a meeting with mother, Kris Jenner. Meanwhile, her brother Rob, brother-in-law Lamar Odom and sisters Khloe and Kourtney enjoyed some downtime in New York.
