She was recently dropped as the face of Madonna and Lourdes's Material Girl clothing range - now Taylor Momsen has been let go from her day job on Gossip Girl.
The 17-year-old star and co-star Jessica Szohr, 26, will not be returning as a main character on series five of the show, according to sources in the U.S..
Website TVLine says that Taylor's character Jenny and Jessica's character Vanessa will only be invited back on a guest star basis.

However, the five main stars Blake Lively (Serena), Leighton Meester (Blair) Penn Badgley (Dan), Ed Westwick (Chuck) and Chace Crawford (Nate) - will all be back when the show returns this autumn and Kaylee DeFer will become a regular.
Hardcore fans will hardly be surprised at the downgrading of Taylor and Jessica's roles on the show however.
Increasingly controversial Momsen, who has been concentrating on her music career with group The Pretty Reckless, has only appeared in only a handful of episodes of late.

She's also been getting increasingly negative press for exposing her bare breasts at gigs and dressing in an overtly provocative way.
Jessica meanwhile has not been involved in any major plotlines for some time and her character recently revealed that she was leaving town to study abroad.
Blake Lively shocked show bosses last August when she threatened to quit the show, which is screened on ITV2 in the UK.
It was rumoured that arguments between the cast members behind the scenes had become intolerable - which could also hint as to the reasons why Taylor and Jessica aren't returning.
There's been no official word as yet however from the show's makers, CW TV.
For the uninitiated, Gossip Girl is about the lives and loves of a group of Manhattan socialites.
