But while it seemed that Lindsay Lohan’s chaotic life has calmed down of late she reportedly indulged in a wild night out at famous Hollywood haunt Chateau Marmont on Sunday.
The actress was seen paying a series of visits to the bathroom with a male friend, according to claims by Radaronline.com
A source told the website: ‘When the two of them emerged from the bathroom, Lindsay was giggling and her nose appeared red.
‘Lindsay was spotted only drinking water in the lounge area, but she appeared to be loaded on something, and she seemed under the influence. Lindsay's eyes were glassy and her pupils were constricted.’
A second source also claims Lindsay was ‘Definitely on something. She was slurring her words, and needed help walking’, Radar reports.
Steve Honig, a spokesperson for the troubled star told MailOnline: ‘This is another example of people wanting to have a brush with fame and make up stories about Lindsay. Like so much of what is reported, this is untrue and complete trash. I don't place much credibility with unnamed sources and unconfirmed allegations.’
Lindsay was said to be wearing a plunging black dress without a bra as she partied the evening away with friends.

According to TMZ.com, attorneys for the 25-year-old actress filed their response in the Riverside County Superior Court in California on January 10.
Not only does she deny that she is at fault, Lindsay wants the court to force her accuser to pay her court costs, plus any other relief the judge deems is appropriate.
In July, Dawn Bradley filed a lawsuit accusing Lindsay of assault and battery for an alleged incident she says took place in December 2010 when she worked at the Betty Ford Center.
At the time the Mean Girls star was receiving court-ordered treatment for substance abuse.
Dawn claims the actress attacked her when she tried to give her a breathalyser test, after Lindsay allegedly left the property to drink alcohol.
According to the lawsuit the troubled star grabbed her right wrist and began 'twisting and pulling it for eight to ten seconds.'
But Lindsay claims that Dawn - who was subsequently fired from her job for talking to TMZ - provoked the incident.
She also says that anything she may have done was done in self-defence.
