Christina Milian dazzles at premiere and would have any man Jumping The Broom

Christina Milian may have recently gone through a tough divorce but the singer looks like she may be ready to give up the single life again.

The 29-year-old star looked ravishing at the Los Angeles premiere of Jumping The Broom and showed off her glowing physique in a revealing Versace halter neck dress.

Milian wore the green and gold patterned mini summer frock and accessorised her outfit with gold sandles and matching bag and jewellery.

The mother-of-one showed off her post baby body and took a night off from 'mummy duty' looking after her 14-month-old daughter Violet.

Although she is old enough to be Christina's mother, 52-year-old Angela Bassett also looked radiant at tonight's premiere and gave the youngsters a run for her money.

Bassett looked gorgeous in an asymmetrical blue dress which showed off her toned arm on one side and was covered with a billowing chiffon sleeve on the other.

The dress was adorned with a bejewelled silver neckline and she accessorised with matching silver sandals, bag and jewellery.

The What's Love Got to Do With It stars in the new romantic comedy about modern marriage and family.

Also in attendance were co-stars Paula Patton who dressed simply in black shift Chanel mini-dress.

The classic outfit was edged with gold detailing and she wore matching platform shoes to finish off the look.

Patton stars in the movie about a soon to be married couple whose upper class meets working class families clash in the comedy that is getting rave reviews.

The 35-year-old actress who is married to singer Robin Thicke, plays a corporate attorney who is getting ready to 'jump the broom' with her handsome Wall Street fiance, played by Laz Alonso.

But Patton's well-to-do family do not meet Alsonso's postal worker mother until the posh wedding at her family's Martha's Vineyard estate leading to an onslaught of hilarity.

In the comedy, the bride's mother is dismissive of the groom's mother wanting the couple to 'jump the broom' because it is how slaves signified they were married at a time when legal marriage among them was forbidden.

America's Next Top Model winner Eva Marcille also came out to support the premiere but looked a bit mis-matched in a Seventies inspired print maxi-dress at the premiere.

Her peroxide blonde hair actually matched the print but the ensemble did not do much for her and was unflattering.

The Game star Meagan Good, who stars in the flick, looked great in red and showed off her curves in the skin tight one shoulder dress with a thigh high split.

Dancing With The Stars celebrity Chelsie Hightower looked pretty in pink in a ultra mini double-tiered dress with a pink bow and cut-outs at the side.

The frock also had a bit cut out at the back and a giant pink bow wrapping the blonde bombshell up like a big present.

Meanwhile, DWTS contestant Romeo scrubbed up well in a shiny grey suit and wore a white shirt and silver tie, but he added white trainers to his ensemble to keep the look youthful. He was joined by Fancia Raisa on the grey carpet.

Hollywood producer and ex-wife of music mogul Babyface and Eddie Murphy, Tracey Edmonds, looked amazing in a very tight body-skimming gold dress which showed off the mother-of-two's amazing physique to perfection.

But not to be outdone - the boys also dressed up for the night - Pooch Hall, Laz Alonso, Romeo and Mike Epps posed together on the carpet to celebrate the premiere of their new film.

Jumping the broom is a phrase and custom practiced in some African-American communities relating to getting the married.

After the marriage ceremony is conducted the bride and groom will jump over a broomstick either separately or together as they walk back down the aisle.

It is a custom that dates back to the 19th century but enjoyed a resurgence largely due to the miniseries Roots.

Jumping The Broom opens in cinemas on May 6.
