Charlie Sheen signs up for Comedy Central 'roast'

Charlie Sheen could yet have the last laugh against his former Two and a Half Men bosses - with a one-off TV show set for the same night as the sitcom's return to the airwaves.Until recently the troubled comedian claimed to have hopes his bitter and bizarre feud with the show's creator Chuck Lorre could end with a return to the hit series.
But they have found a replacement in Ashton Kutcher, while Sheen's character is reportedly set to be killed off in the show's universe.

Now the actor has found a way to continue to torment the CBS network.
He is set to be the star of the next edition of Comedy Central's renowned 'roasts' - where a celebrity gets 'honoured' with merciless crude ribbings from various comedians and friends on front of a live audience.
The show is set to air on September 19th - the same night Two and a Half Men kick off the new season with Kutcher's first appearance.
Sheen, whose bizarre behaviour since being fired from the show has made him a constant source of debate and ridicule, said he is looking forward to the 'roasting'.
'You could say that I've been providing the kindling for a roast for a while,' Sheen said in a statement. 'It's time to light it up. It's going to be epic.'
Notorious previous victims of the Roast include Pamela Anderson, William Shatner and David Hasselhoff.
