Rosie Huntington-Whiteley toasts $400m Transformers success with a beer on the beach for 4th of July

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley had plenty to celebrate as she took to the beach with friends on Independence Day. Despite scathing reviews, the British star's new film Transformers: Dark of the Moon, was a huge success on its opening weekend.
Distributor Paramount Pictures estimated yesterday that the new instalment pulled in $116.4 million domestically over the four-day Fourth of July weekend and $181.1 million since opening Tuesday night.

The sci-fi sequel has added $217 million overseas, bringing its worldwide total to nearly $400 million.
The studio says 60 percent of domestic business came from premium-priced 3-D admissions, which cost a few dollars more than 2-D screenings. Overseas, 3-D admissions accounted for 70 percent of ticket sales.
So it's no surprise Rosie looked in good spirits as she relaxed with a beer in Malibu with her boyfriend Jason Statham and pals.

She recently revealed the film role bought her closer to her British movie star boyfriend, who has starred in Snatch and the Expendables.
'I love his films and now I get to love doing action too. So that’s something that we definitely share in common now,' she said.
