Jennifer Lopez wears not one but two VERY revealing gowns at the Oscars

She may not have featured in a film this year but that didn’t stop Jennifer Lopez from making an enormous impact at the Oscars.
Jennifer stepped out in her trademark plunging gown in a Zuhair Murad dress which hugged her curvy figure to perfection.
But as the singer took to the stage alongside Cameron Diaz to present an award she appeared in danger of falling out of her shimmering gown.

Close call: Jennifer Lopez barely avoided suffering a wardrobe malfunction and revealing too much of her chest as she took to the stage with Cameron Diaz

A slither of wardrobe tape was seen straining between her bosom and her low-cut gown as she spoke on stage.
So near the knuckle was the dress in fact that some television stations this morning actually felt the need to blur the 'offending area' during their reports of the night.

However, the star's stylist Mariel Haenn has defended the gown and has insisted that she didn't have a wardrobe malfunction.
'The dress fit perfectly to every inch,' she told People magazine. 'While the dress did give the illusion of sheer-ness, joke's on everyone who wishes they saw something!'

Jennifer arrived onto the red carpet showing off her incredible figure in the shimmering oyster gown, which boasted thin sheer panels and cut out sleeves.
She had piled her hair on top of her head into a large bun and finished off her look with diamond earrings.

The American Idol judge stepped out solo, without her toyboy boyfriend Casper Smart.

While the dress not only displayed plenty of cleavage Jennifer ensured that everyone saw the back view too.
Jennifer and Cameron turned around and displayed their derrieres to the audience as they presented the Oscar for Best Costume Design and Best Makeup.
The singer later changed into another low cut dress to attend the Vanity Fair Oscar party in West Hollywood.

The mother-of-two arrived in a dark red sequin dress that sweeped the floor and featured floral lace detail at the side.
She carried a matching clutch bag as she posed for photos, but unfortunately found herself having to adjust her garment in public.
But Lopez wasn't the only star to show off some flesh by donning a daring gown for the 84th Academy Awards.

Angelina Jolie put her pins, well one of them, on parade in a black velvet gown by Atelier Versace.
And the actress certainly knew how to work the thigh-high split, posing with her right leg sticking through the gap.
The Help star Viola Davis also opted for a revealing gown choosing and showed off her cleavage in the emerald green frock by Vera Wang.
The Artist star Missi Pyle also had a low cut dress on, and selected a sky blue hue for the evening.
