Sarah Jessica Parker walked son James Wilkie to school in Manhattan

Last year she stared in the film adaptation of Allison Pearson's novel about a high-flying mother who struggles - yet ultimately manages - to juggle her career and a family.
The movie, entitled I Don't Know How She Does It was panned, though the 46-year-old's performance was spared a drubbing as the script took the full force of fury.
And it's perhaps clear to see why the Sex and the City star brought charm to such a moribund role, because it's so close to her actual persona.

Yesterday, she proved this in spades.
Yes, she is a wealthy woman, and yes, she has help... but the iconic blonde was spotted taking her son James Wilkie, nine, to school yesterday then collecting her two-year-old twin daughters, Tabitha and Marion, from nursery later in the day.
She looked incredible in a more simple outfit than Carrie Bradshaw would select to pound the pavements, with a classic black biker jacket to add that fashionable edge.

No more than any mother would do, you might think, but then it has to be remembered that the darling of Noughties television is also making a film... across the States in LA.
She stepped in at the last moment to take Demi Moore's role in Lovelace, after the troubled actress was rushed to hospital after binging on nitrous oxide.
The actress appeared almost unrecognisable in the brassy blonde wig as she takes on the role of feminist icon Gloria Steinem.

As well as the bright blonde wig, Sarah also appeared to be sporting dark contacts as she shot scenes in LA.

Steinem famously went undercover as a Playboy Bunny at the New York Playboy Club while on an assignment for a magazine.
The article featured a photo of Steinem in Bunny uniform and detailed how women were treated at those clubs.
Steinem's expose was later made into the 1985 movie A Bunny's Tale.
Sex And The City Sarah landed the role after Demi was rushed to hospital.
The actress was hosting dinner party when she collapsed after inhaling laughing gas and she is suffering ‘anorexic issues’.
On Tuesday reports emerged that Demi was seeking treatment it was revealed she would be pulling out of the biopic about the 70s porn Star Linda Lovelace.
Parker joins the cast which includes Amanda Seyfried who takes on the title role.
Sarah is also starring alongside Chris Noth, who played Big in Sex And The City.
Noth told E! news that the film bosses should stage a reunion for the couple.
He said: 'They should write us a scene.'
