There are major changes under way at McKinley High and Chord Overstreet is one of the casualties.
Chord, who joined Glee last season as a guest star and transfer student Sam Evans, has been dropped as a regular member of the cast.
As news of his departure spread, the 22-year-old star took to Twitter yesterday to express his disappointment.

'Well its been a good yr too bad its over,' the actor Tweeted yesterday, alluding to his diminished role on the show... Time for summer and starting fresh,' he added.
According to TVLine.com, the show's creators decided not to renew Chord's contract as a series regular, although he could return as an occasional guest star when the show's third season gets under way.
With Chord's reported exit comes news that Darren Criss and Harry Shum, Jr., who play Blaine and Mike, are being upgraded to series regulars when the series returns in September.

As for Glee's original characters, including Lea Michele and Chris Colfer, creator Ryan Murphy recently said they would be graduating next season as they complete their senior year.
'We didn't want to have a show where they were in high school for eight years, Murphy told KIIS-FM's Ryan Seacrest earlier this month.
Chord and the other members of the cast are currently embarked on the live Glee tour which won over fans Wednesday night at London's O2 arena.

Gwyneth Paltrow, who guest-starred in a number of episodes, joined the cast on stage and had audiences roaring in delight.
The 38-year-old actress arrived toward the end of the show to belt out Forget You by Cee Lo Green, her best known performance in the series.
Glee star Lea Michele let fans in on the secret just before the show, tweeting: 'Cats out of the bag! @GwynethPaltrow here tonight to do a special performance of Forget You! We love you Gwyneth! So happy you're here!'
