Pippa Middleton heading for the Big Apple, New York, and the Pistol gun

Her reputation was shattered last month when she was embroiled in a gun-wielding fiasco in the streets of Paris. But now in a bid to fix her public image, the Duchess of Cambridge's sister, Pippa Middleton, is said to be looking at options in the U.S.
New York is thought to be the 28-year-old's first choice, as she gears up for the launch of her party-planning guide, 'Celebrate' this October.

Since her Paris antics grabbed headlines in April, she has quit her job at London-based catering firm Table Talk, and kept a low profile, distancing herself from the Capital's social circuit.

'Pippa had been considering a move to Paris. But now that's off the list she has been investigating her options in America.'
'She would love to move to New York as she'll be spending time there when her book launches in the autumn,' a source told Grazia magazine.

Pippa was set to be questioned by Paris police after the driver of an Audi convertible in which she was travelling waved a pistol at a photographer.
The man, 36-year-old Romain Rabillard, who works as a lawyer and a senior adviser to one of the world's leading small arms manufacturers, Heckler & Koch, was captured pointing what appeared to be a semi-automatic gun directly at the camera.
'Anybody involved in the illegal use of a handgun in public is liable to arrest and interrogation.'
However Pippa was not investigated by French police, as they claimed they could not take the case any further based on the strength of the photographs alone. She is now seeking to rebuild her reputation.
Pippa, was originally in Paris to attend a lavish fancy dress party to celebrate the 30th birthday of Arthur de Soultrait, a Paris fashion entrepreneur.
Arthur could also be seen sitting in the back of the Audi wearing a navy-blue baseball cap, alongside a man believed to be his younger brother, Marcy de Soultrait.
Marcy de Soultrait insisted the weapon in question was a child's toy and that the royal in-law thought the entire incident was 'a very funny game'.
Mr De Soultrait claimed: 'It was a children's toy that the driver had in his car. Pippa thought it was funny.
'I have spoken with Pippa, she thinks this is all a joke and a funny game. We were just having a laugh. We are funny people, it's what we do.'
At the time St James's Palace declined to comment while the Middleton family solicitor failed to respond to repeated requests for a comment.
Following her appearance at the Royal Wedding last year, there has been huge interest in Miss Middleton.
As a result she is often followed by photographers and is known to guard her privacy when in the UK.
