The Voice star Jessie J warns that she won't be getting into any style wars with rival BGT judges

From Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue, to Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon, judging a talent show has also meant being in a fashion competition.
But Jessie J now claims that is all going to change – the star, who is a coach on new BBC1 show The Voice, has vowed not to 'make it all about fashion'.
The Voice is set to clash with Britain’s Got Talent on Saturday nights from the end of March – so sartorial comparisons may be unavoidable.

But, the 23-year-old star said she wasn’t interested in getting into a competition with her Britain’s Got Talent rivals, Miss Dixon, 33, and 41-year-old Miss Holden.

She said: ‘It’s all about the vocals. I want music to define the show. I think about how I train everyday. That is what I want to see in someone that I find.
‘I’m still only on album one, I’m only on my seventh single, but I can only be myself [on the show] and I love to sing and I love vocals.

‘I love getting dressed up but I want to be remembered for singing.’
The star added she was happy to mix between high end fashion and casual clothes when she is working on the show – depending on her mood.
She added: ‘I am styling myself at the moment. Fashion is something that I love to do. But I am definitely not making everything about image.’

The Price Tag singer added that another key difference between The Voice and other talent shows was that there was no rivalry between her and fellow 'coaches' Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, and The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue.
‘The show is not about who is arguing with who. That’s what is different about this. Back stage we are all getting on and we are all focused on our artists.
[With other programmes] you are stuck reading about who is not getting on with who. We are focusing on the inspirational and the positive,’ she claimed.
The Voice will broadcast on Saturday nights on BBC1 from Saturday, March 24.
