Vanessa Hudgens made a rather understated appearance in Paris today as she hit the French capital straight off a flight from the States.
Though she was still looking rather glamorous, the High School Musical actress found herself guilty of one of fashion's cardinal sins.
In a rare faux pas, the 23-year-old was wearing black peep toe shoes with white socks.
She would have certainly raised a few eyebrows in the fashion-conscious city with the unflattering combination.
An unusual slip up for the actress who usually appears to have been styled from top to toe.
Miss Hudgens wrapped up warm in a large black winter coat, with plenty of fur underneath to keep her warm, an ankle-length skirt with two shoulder bags (one black and one brown).
Though it must be said her attire was entirely appropriate for the chilly weather in Paris.
Temperatures there are currently fluctuating between -8 and 0 degrees.
After stopping off at her hotel and dropping off her luggage, the actress did what every young woman would do in the fashion capital - hit the shops.
She headed to the famous Bon Marche, where she picked up a large orange bag full of goodies - of course, accompanied by her entourage.
Vanessa is in the City Of Lights to attend tomorrow's premiere of her new movie Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.
During her Stateside press duties this week, Vanessa recently chatted with Access Hollywood about the topic of body image, saying: 'My body is my body…I love myself and I think you’ve got to be proud of the body you have and own it.'
Vanessa also revealed that she lived in a homeless shelter for a fortnight in preparation for her role in Gimme Shelter.
The film will see her play a teenager left pregnant and homeless. 'High School Musical' it ain't.
Speaking to chat show host Rachael Ray, she explained: 'I actually went and stayed in a shelter for two weeks before I started filming.
'I lived there with all the girls, with all the kids, so I think that it's really interesting because you find so much more about yourself.'
She added: 'I actually cut my own hair for this movie. I did that to myself.'
Journey 2 is the sequel to 2008 film Journey to the Center of the Earth.
The film also stars Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Michael Caine, Josh Hutcherson, Luis Guzmán and Kristin Davis.
It was released in the UK on February 3 and hit the No.2 spot in the Box Office charts within its first week - the film was released in the U.S. a week later on February 10.
The French premiere takes places tomorrow, while the movie goes on general release across France on February 15.
