Accused: It has been claimed Gabriel Aubry was verbally and physically abusive to Nahla's nany
According to RadarOnline, the actress is furious at the male model's alleged behaviour, in which he abused the worker both verbally and physically.
Police are also investigating the incident after it was reported to them, with TMZ reporting charges of criminal child endangerment and battery being considered.
The confrontation supposedly happened last Wednesday, when the childminder went to his home after discovering he had kept three-year-old Nahla absent from nursery for two days due to illness.
A source said: 'The nanny went to pick Nahla up at school and she wasn't there, so she went to Gabriel's home.
'Gabriel and the nanny got into an argument because no one alerted her that Nahla didn't go to school.'
The source also claims the confrontation took a turn for the worse, and the abuse turned from verbal to physical between the 5'2" nanny and the 6'4" French Canadian.
They claimed: 'She picked up Nahla to leave and Gabriel yelled at her and shoved her out the door so hard that she hit the wall -- while she had Nahla in her arms.'
TMZ are also reporting the 36-year-old told the childminder: 'You're the f****** nanny. Who do you think you are? You are a nobody. You don't need to f****** know anything.'
Best foot forward: Halle is flying into Los Angeles specifically so she can attend the hearing
A special hearing at a Los Angeles court is scheduled for tomorrow, with Halle Berry flying back specially to attend.
It is the latest development in the long-running legal battle between the pair over their daughter.
The nanny has been a bone of contention previously, with the model failing in an attempt in October to have more visitation time with his daughter without her supervision.
He is furious at not being allowed to care for his daughter on his own, and claims the chidlminder encroaches on his relationship with Nahla.
The Mail contacted Gabriel and Halle's legal representatives, but have yet to receive a response.
