As the toast of Sundance and the new darling of Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld, Elizabeth Olsen is fast becoming as well-known as her older sisters.
Now the indie starlet du jour, 22, has opened up to ASOS Magazine about the whirlwind that has been the past year, from finding her fashion feet to her relationship with sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley.
The interview, accompanying a stunning shoot at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in New York, saw her tell how her siblings' fame means people often have strange preconceptions about her.
She revealed: 'When Silent House and Martha [Marcy May Marlene] both got into Sundance, the producers were like, "We're going to get her a place to stay, but it won't have a pool and we can't fly her first class. Is she OK with that?"
'I was like, "what are you talking about?! They should see the apartment I live in!"'She says that while she had a comfortable upbringing, she was aware of what was 'abnormal' and recalls clearly the one and only time she travelled first class, when her sisters were the main event for a 'Sail With The Stars' cruise.
Nor does she trade on her name when it comes to securing work as an actress - some casting directors, it seems, didn't even make the connection between her and her sisters.
'I loved it when that would happen, because there was no baggage of any kind, whether it was good or bad,' she admitted.
The script for Martha Marcy May Marlene was the first that piqued her interest.
'I read Martha... in the first seven months of being sent scripts and auditioning,' she said. 'Every script was stupid and simple, and if it was funny it was "funny ironic" because the girls were sluts or b****es. To tell you the truth I don't know how to act that. I have a really hard time playing those parts.'
The past few months of press junkets, film festivals and red carpet events has seen Elizabeth make her mark on the fashion scene too.
She (along with older brother Trent James) already had a presence as the namesake for Mary-Kate and Ashley's popular label Elizabeth & James.
But while one might imagine that she has the same gene for sartorial instinct as her designer sisters, it seems this is not the case.
Listing Marni, Celine, Chanel and Isabel Marant as her favourite labels, she admits: 'I didn't know all this stuff before [last] year, but I thought I should probably become more aware, so I can have more of a say in what I wear.'
Raiding her sisters' wardrobes is not an option though - Elizabeth admits she hasn't been able to borrow their clothes since she was 14 because she is so much taller than them.
'As I passed them, it was awful because all my friends would get their clothes and I got nothing,' she revealed.
'Pants and shoes never fitted me after 14, but all my friends would say, "Oh this? This is Mary-Kate's." I'd be like, "I hate you, that's so cute."'
It's unlikely that she needs to though. As one of the front row guests at the Chanel Couture show last week, one imagines that Elizabeth already has her pick of the collections.
In fact, we're sure it won't be long before Mary-Kate and Ashley are raiding her closet. Just watch this space...
