An Italian illustrator has redrawn a selection of fashion industry luminaries as characters from the hit cartoon The Simpsons.
Anna Wintour, Karl Lagerfeld, Alber Elbaz, Marc Jacobs and curator Diane Pernet have all been reimagined by Alexsandro Palombo in the style of Matt Groening's favourite family from Springfield.
The illustrator was previously a knitwear designer, showing his collections at Milan Fashion Week, but is now better known as a subversive force via his blog Humor Chic.
It's not the first time Mr Palombo has targeted fashion and historical figureheads in his often scathing satirical illustrations.
Previous sketches have included a skeletal Michelle Obama, Adolf Hitler (dressed in Louis Vuitton), a gun-toting Karl Lagerfeld holding a bleeding Bambi and photographer Terry Richardson.
The illustrator has a loyal cult following and is undergoing treatment for cancer, according to Refinery29.com.
'While his reports on his condition are upbeat, inspiring, and cuttingly funny, we're still very concerned for our friend and hope for a day when he'll be able to create new, blindingly weird art,' said the website in November.
However, with this latest round of incisive portraits, it would seem that he's back and bolder than ever.

In October, Mr Palombo announced that the rare form of the disease had left him partially paralysed and that he would no longer be contributing to his blog. However, with this latest round of incisive portraits, it would seem that he's back and bolder than ever.
