Kevin Federline is believed to have suffered a heart attack while filming a weight loss show in Australia.
The ex-husband of Britney Spears was rushed to hospital during shooting for the Channel 9 Excess Baggage show.
It is thought the 33-year-old called paramedics after suffering chest pains and a 'roaring pulse' while taking on Australian football club Greater Western Sydney today.
Former dancer Federline underwent a series of blood tests after suffering a minor cardiac arrest, according to local reports.
He is expected to remain at Mt Druitt Hospital overnight.
A spokesperson for Australia's Channel Nine said: 'Kevin was at Doonside with the [Giants], completing an AFL-related challenge.
'He did his challenge, which was running and catching the ball, then while his [in-series weight-loss partner] was taking the same challenge, he reported chest pains and a racing heart.
'Obviously on this show we have a lot of paramedics on standby and they treated him for the first signs of a minor cardiac arrest, called an ambulance and had him taken to hospital.'
It is not clear if or when he will return to the much-hyped new show, but Federline is believed to be remaining in hospital for further tests and observation until later tonight.
It is the second time father-of-three Federline has been hospitalised during the programme, as he was previously treated for heat stress after filming a segment in the Western Australian outback.
Federline, who weighed in at 105.4 kilograms at the beginning of the series, previously said that he wanted to take part in the programme to 'become fit, healthy and buff once more'.
