Hemsworth, 22 , met up with a friend at an LA cafe before being joined by his superstar girlfriend Miley Cyrus.
The 19-year-old brunette pulled up a chair, and the pair carried on with their lunch but before long, Miley was in Liam's lap.
His friend did what anyone would in that situation and studiously stared at his phone to avoid enforced voyeurism.
But it got worse for the trapped diner as soon, Miley leaned in for a passionate kiss with her Australian beau.
Unaware apparently that people were trying to eat, the blissfully content pair couldn't contain themselves.

Over the weekend, Miley took to her Twitter page to share her happiness about relationship with Hemsworth in a pair of tweets.
She wrote: 'If you have love, you don’t need to have anything else. If you don’t have it, it doesn’t matter much what else you have.'
Then: 'In my wildest dreams you always play my hero. In my darkest hours of the night you rescue me, you save my life.'
Miley and Liam began dating after meeting on the set of The Last Song back in 2009.
After striking up a relationship, Cyrus described him as her first serious boyfriend. They split for the first time in August 2010.
Just a month later they were back together, but parted ways again a few weeks later before rekindling their romance earlier this year.
