She may have looked stunning as a bridesmaid for her brother's wedding last month, but Keira Knightley doesn't think she did much justice to the role.
'I don't normally spill things down myself but every single drink went down that dress,' she told U.S. morning talk show hosts Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa today.
'Then they had a curry buffet at this wedding and the curry went all the way down the dress as well, and then I went to the toilet and I got it stuck in the door and it ripped it all the way down the back. So I was the worst bridesmaid in the entire world,' she said.
Admission: Keira Knightley, seen on the Jimmy Fallon show tonight, has said she was 'the worst bridesmaid'
'I'm never going to be asked again,' added the star, who also appeared on the Jimmy Fallon talk show tonight. 'It was a great dress and I had a great night.'
The 26-year-old actress wore a plum coloured gown to the Scottish wedding of her brother Caleb and his bride Kerry Nixon.
She also showed off her new short hair at the nuptials, and revealed it had taken her a couple of glasses of champagne to cut it short.
'By the end of second glass the hair was gone,' she said.

Wedding duty: Keira said her plum coloured bridesmaid dress ripped at her brother's wedding last month
Keira, who appeared on Jimmy Fallon looking sophisticated in a black patterned dress, is currently on a promotional tour for her new movie Last Night.
The film sees her play one half of a couple who are tempted to be unfaithful during their seven-year marriage.
She earlier told The Today Show that director Massy Tadjedin told her to 'play herself as much as possible' in the film, which co-stars Sam Worthington and Eva Mendes.
'It was terrifying,' she said. 'That's the last thing that any actor wants to hear.
'But the director happens to be one of my best friends so she was just like "do that thing that you" do and I was like "no, please don't make me do that" but I did it in the end.'
According to Keira the movie is 'about a woman who knows what she wants in life and is completely stable but then all of a sudden she bumps into somebody who makes things quite tricky for her.'
'Suddenly she has to question everything.'
The actress appeared on the Jimmy Fallon show just a day after an elderly woman was injured during a fan stampede outside The Daily Show in New York.
The woman was almost trampled when overzealous autograph seekers pushed down a barrier holding them back from Keira, causing a woman to fall to the concrete pavement.
