When Katy Perry married Russell Brand, Grazia Daily’s crush grew three sizes. On her, not him. Well, ok, both. So when we clapped eyes on the latest issue of Vanity Fair with the Californian girl looking utterly divine, we couldn’t help but swoon. That red pout! The retro waves! The voluptuous curves squeezed into a satin corset! Phwoar, right? Like an almighty fashion hero crossed with a burlesque pin-up, Pezzle oozes sensuality and fifties glamour - and that’s just the cover. So hooray for today that’s delivered the full editorial shoot, as well as a sneaky behind-the-scenes video...
Seen here stalking around Paris avec poodle, Mrs Brand works the same Jean Paul Gaultier gown that Karolina Kurkova wore to the Met Ball; those amazing lace leggings providing a dash of her trademark kookiness. But instead of her usual fashion fare - we're talking latex-y dresses and swirly candy bustiers - Perry looks lavish in an assortment of dramatic haute couture gowns.
Proving the point, here she is looking like a carnival queen, posing for Annie Leibovitz’s lens on the Carrousel de Paris while swathed in layers of lilac Christian Dior tulle. Who'da thought she could do couture so well, eh? Click play on the video below to witness more wonderfulness. Go, go K-Pez!
