But their romantic twirl around the dance floor, choreographed by Mark Ballas, was short-lived when Kim's step-father Bruce Jenner cut in and swept the bride away.
Jenner made a touching speech, telling guests: 'Tonight is really about family, the joining of two families.'
He also noted that all ten of his children and step-children were in the room to celebrate the union.

Then all of Kim's sisters got up on the stage to make a collaborative speech. Khloe wished the couple a long and happy life together, before encouraging the guests to get up on the dancefloor to 'shake their a**.'

At one point current radio hit Give Me Everything by rapper Pitbull came on, sending the revellers wild  - except Lindsay Lohan, who has just taken legal action against the artist for his 'disparaging lyrics.'
Lindsay wasn't the only put out. Another couple getting hitched over the weekend were irritated when their guests were turned away from the bar at the Biltmore Four Seasons hotel in Santa Barbara, TMZ reports.
Matt Hornbuckle and Christy Kirschenmann were holding their rehearsal dinner at the resort, which was accommodating the Kardashian entourage and their extensive filming crews, on Friday night.
But when the party attempted to gain access to the hotel bar to toast the couple before their wedding, they were turned away as members of the Kardashian entourage were inside.
