Star Wars, George Lucas, creator's daughter prepares for her latest role - as a CAGE FIGHTER

As the eldest daughter of Star Wars creator George Lucas, the force was bound to be with her.
After years of Martial Arts training, Amanda Lucas, 30, has become a professional cage fighter.
As incredible pictures have been released of her training, the adopted eldest daughter of George, who appeared in the Star Wars prequels, said she turned to fighting to battle her own demons caused by growing up as a 'fat and wimpy'' kid.

She said her billionaire father is 'very supportive' of her new career as a pro cage fighter - but he can't stand to watch her fight.
Amanda, a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, has now entered the brutal world of pro fighting as part of the 'Skrap Pack' team.
And despite her family's huge wealth she was determined to forge her own unique career - for which she will earn just $500 a fight.

The 5ft 4in and 156lbs fighter will now go head-to-head in a professional cage fight against Hikaru Shinohara in Japan on August 26.
Amanda, of San Fransisco, California, said: 'When I was younger I was the fat wimpy kid, and I hated sports and gym class.
'I was in a privileged position and went a small private school but if I had gone to a normal school I'm pretty sure I'd have got my ass kicked every day.
''I was always a bit different because of my father and my background so I guess I wanted to doing something of my own to try to fit in.'

Amanda said her family have been supportive of her unusual career choice.
'My family have been very good about it,' she added. 'Mum has come to watch me train, dad has been very supportive but he's not been to see me fight as yet.
'I think he would be okay watching me wrestle and grapple but he might start to freak out if I got punched in the head.
'I might get the odd competitor make a Star Wars comment but I'll channel it into some aggression and hopefully use it against them.'
Amanda was introduced to the sport by her husband Jason, 30, took her to a cage fight in Japan about eight years ago.

She said: 'I used to hate violence, even boxing, I couldn't watch any of it for a minute. I thought it was horrible. The only thing I liked to do was dance.
'But Jason was a big Ultimate Fighting Challenge fan and he took me to a fight and I realised martial arts was a good way to lose weight.
'The more I trained the more weight I lost. I stuck at it and realized if I focused I could turn pro. The thing is I'm not a violent person at all.
'I reality don't want to hurt anyone. But in one of my early fights I did get my ass kicked and that's not a feeling I want to repeat.'

Amanda is on a special diet and trains twice a day six days a week at Gilbert Melendez Gym El Nino Training Center in San Fransisco.
During her pro-fight bouts against other female fighters she will use skills and techniques from boxing, Thai Boxing, wrestling and Muay Thai.
Amanda was adopted as a baby by George Lucas and his then wife Marcia Lucas in 1981 before the couple divorced in 1983.
Lucas, behind the Star Wars and Indiana Jones films, also adopted two more children, Katie, born in 1988, and Jett, born in 1993.

Amanda said: 'Obviously because of who my father is I do feel very blessed. I was a lucky little girl, and we did all kinds of cool stuff, like hang out on movie sets, and even appear in some Star Wars movies.
'But my mum and and dad always talked about the adoption and tried to make things as normal as possible. When dad was shooting a film he was always home for dinner.'
Amanda had small roles as Diva Funquita in Star Wars Episode I, as Adnama in Star Wars Episode II, and as Terr Taneel in Star Wars Episode III.
Since turning pro in 2009 she has had two pro fights so far - winning one and losing one - before taking a two year break to get married.
