They were competing for attention against some of the world's most glamorous women, so it was no surprise to see Sarah Ferguson and her daughters up the style stakes for Petra Ecclestone's wedding.Ferguson, the Duchess of York, and eldest daughter Princess Beatrice, 23, both decided to wear attention-grabbing pink hues for the occasion, with Beatrice opting for a sexy strapless full-length fuchsia number, and Ferguson going for a more modest, brighter pink gown.
But Princess Eugenie, 21, decided to play it safe for the nuptials, sticking to a trusty LBD (little black dress) and matching heels.
However, the dress, thought to be a Vivienne Westwood, proved incredibly flattering on Eugenie, the in-built corsetry highlighting her feminine figure.
And, if the reports are true, it could soon be Eugenie doing a Pippa as sister Beatrice's maid of honour, as her boyfriend Dave Clark is said to be planning to propose.
A source told the Mail On Sunday's Katie Nicholl: 'Dave wanted to wait until Bea had completed her degree to talk seriously about their future.
'They have planned a romantic holiday together to Spain and the word among their inner circle is that an engagement is on the cards.'
And Beatrice's parents, the Duke and Duchess of York, are said to be thrilled at the prospect of her tying the knot with 29-year-old Clark.
The source added: 'Both Sarah and Andrew would be delighted to call Dave their son-in-law.
'They already think of him as one of the family and aren’t surprised in the least that he wants to ask for her hand.
'He has stuck by Beatrice through the family’s every embarrassing scandal and he brings stability to her life, as well as fun and laughter, not to mention love.’
Beatrice and Clark arrived in Rome on Friday night, along with Beatrice's sister Princess Eugenie and mother Sarah Ferguson for a pre-wedding dinner with the Ecclestone family.
Bernie, who is worth £2.5billion, paid The Black Eyed Peas over £1million to perform after the ceremony, while family friend Eric Clapton sang during the newlyweds' first dance for free.
Renting the Italian castle costs £310,000 which includes catering and guests' accommodation, and £40,000 was also splashed out on a spectacular fireworks display at midnight.
